A blend made with wines vinified in 2005 and 2007 and subsequently aged in old french oak casks in the different Barbeito warehouses. Old wines aged in casks for approximately 60 years were added to the blend and then stored in 50-liter demijohns for the last 40 years. In January 2023, 582 bottles were filled all individually numbered.
Amber colour, Fresh on the nose, mahogany wood, quince jam and well-seasoned. The entry is smooth, but with a well-rounded acidity in the mid-palate. Layers of flavours between salted caramel, ginger, and citrus. Pungent and bittersweet with a polished and elegant finish. Excellent as a digestif. Pairs well with cheese and/or chocolate.
