SERCIAL 1978
Frasqueira with two vinifications and two aging processes took place in very different environments: a) Barbeito warehouse in Funchal and b) MEF warehouse located by Seixal beach. The blend consists of 60% of the wine from the Barbeito warehouse (lower in acidity, with some residual sugar and from demijohns); with 40% of the wine aged in Seixal, marked by high acidity and with very little residual sugar. In February 2024, 400 units were bottled, each individually numbered.
Golden colour with greenish reflections. Fresh and delicate bouquet, hint of pine, dried apricot, light touch of rancidity, nuts, and sea breeze. Delicate nose. Increasingly salty palate and a well-marked acidity. Citrus flavour, persistent dryness in a crisp and refined finish Excellent as an aperitif.
