This Malvasia 1990 is the second controlled bottling made with its roots in that unique property. As a result of the aging in old American oak casks, with capacity for 300 liters, this wine suffered continuous and high concentration throughout the years, which is reflected in its intense and dark color that is accompanied by an elegant acidity in the end of the mouth. In March 2017, 360 bottles were filled, all individually numbered.
Dark colour, multi-layered bouquet with chocolate, roasted coffee beans, smoked wood, prunes, scent of roses, and intensely candid orange. Layers of orange marmalade and coffee flavors. Delicate sweetness with fruity palate showing nice polished unctuosity and pleasant finish. Excellent with rich fruit cakes and Christmas pudding.
