This wine is in tribute to Ângelo Augusto da Silva (1896-1987) mathematician and dean of Jaime Moniz lyceum since 1930. He was a big promoter of public education, a man dedicated to the problems of the instruction of the population and one of the responsible for the establishment of Music Academies and Fine-Arts in Madeira.
To create this wine Ricardo Diogo selected the best Malvasias aged in Canteiro in Vinhos Barbeito warehouses over the last 60 years. To complete the blend he added even older wines. Bottled in August of 2018, all 717 units are individually numbered.

Excellent as a digestive, this amber colored wine presents himself with notes of old cedar, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and cinnamon. A fusion of fresh and menthol flavours in the mouth, with an energetic and balanced acidity and a fresh and bittersweet ending.
