Vinhas do Lanço Verdelho 2020
This Madeiran DOP was made entirely from verdelho grapes originating from two vineyards located at different altitudes, at the Casa do Lanço property, in São Vicente. The harvest took place in the second week of September 2020, under optimal weather conditions, which favored the subsequent vinification, made by soft pressing of the whole grapes in a pneumatic press. For this blend, part of the wine aged in French oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks, for 14 months. In December 2021, 1428 units were bottled, all individually numbered.

With a greenish citric colour, this wine is very elegant and fresh to the nose. Citrus notes, a light herbaceousness, nuances of toast with subtle and well-integrated wood. In the mouth it is dry, mineral, highlighting the refreshing acidity. Slightly salty, with a very pleasant aftertaste. Excellent as an aperitif or with seafood and fish.
