This Verdelho Frasqueira is the second of a series of bottling’s in tribute to Manuel Eugénio Fernandes. A very hard working man, but also a lover of music, especially sacred, he lived in a time with very few distractions when the incentive for pleasant gatherings was the presence of a good wine. These circumstances, lead the family patriarch to begin saving good wine that could some day form a valuable wine cellar to bring joyful moments and great friendships to his home. As well as the Sercial, Eugénio Fernandes discovered that the Verdelho showed a great performance in that area. Immediately realizing this potential he began purchasing and producing wine of this variety.

This Frasqueira reveals a golden colour with greenish reflexes. Opens with an elegant taste, citric flavours and a marvellous bittersweet sensation that balances it in a long, fresh and seductive ending. In September of 2018, 650 units were bottled, all individually numbered.
