Rocim and Barbeito - A Meias
Ricardo Diogo and Pedro Ribeiro decided to take an amphora from Alentejo to Madeira to make, as partners, a different wine. To make this blend, they chose verdelho grapes from the Raposeira vineyards on the south coast and from two other vineyards on the north coast of Madeira, more precisely from Seixal and São Vicente. "It was with great pleasure that we dedicated ourselves to this experiment", they tell us. The result is a white wine aged in amphora for 12 months, with a light citric colour, floral, with hints of citrus fruits, oxidative and terracotta notes.

It is dry with a good concentration in the mouth, some clay flavour, a salty touch in a wide, mineral finish and with a fine and persistent dryness. Excellent with different kinds of meat and mature cheeses.
