Bastardo Blend
From Ricardo Diogo’s mastery in the art of blending comes this Mistura de Bastardo 20 years old. The basis for this special blend was a 2007 Bastardo, the very first wine from this grape variety vinified by Vinhos Barbeito. Small quantities of much older bastardo wines, which were stored in 5-litre demijohns and bottles were later mixed. Some of these still belonged to the family collection. In April of 2021, only 67 units were bottled, all individually numbered and signed.

This wine presents a sophisticated bouquet as well as a magnificent freshness. The fusion of the refined wood with delicate fruit fills the sense of smell with suggestions of beeswax, caramel, nuts, dates and sweet spices. Creamy, with the right acidity and a long and polished ending.
