The aging of the wine in a demijohn makes it more elegant over time. This 1994 Sercial comes from high-altitude vineyards located on the southern coast of Madeira, in the parish of Jardim da Serra, situated at an elevation of 600 meters. The wine aged in casks from January 1995 until the end of March 2015. To create this vintage, Ricardo Diogo withdrew 61 liters from the cask in 2015 and stored it in a demijohn until it was bottled in June 2023. This wine, with its old gold color, opens with a fresh bouquet featuring notes of pine, walnuts, and salted caramel. It exhibits a precise dryness, salinity, and acidity with a fresh and subtle finish.
